Tour Description

This eight-day all-inclusive tour explores Ireland’s beautiful West, taking in the scenic Wild Atlantic Way and much more.

This tour begins on Saturday, 3 October, 2021. You will be meet at DAP by one of our tour coordinators, and transferred by luxury coach to the Hyatt Centric Hotel in Dublin city centre.

Day 1

After check-in, there will be a short panoramic tour of  Dublin City centre.

The tour will allow you to view some of Dublin’s most iconic sights, such as The GPO, Trinity College, Georgian Dublin, Christchurch Cathedral, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and St. Stephen’s Green.

Upon return to your hotel, there will be a welcome drink courtesy of Fair Isle tours, followed by dinner.

This will allow us the opportunity to introduce ourselves. eg. Our tour co-ordinator and very importantly, your Driver/tour guide, who will be with you for the duration of your tour.

This will allow everyone to get to know each other and we can promise you we will have a very pleasant evening with one or two surprises.


Day 2.

Day two gives us the opportunity to spend a full day exploring Dublin.

We have chosen the Hyatt Centric Hotel because of its superb facilities and for its central location.

Following on from yesterday’s brief tour we will now visit a number of famous locations including The Guinness Storehouse, Trinity College (including The Book of Kells), Christchurch Cathedral, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral, we may even have time for lunch and a Pint of Guinness!

Entrance to all the above attractions is included.

This a very full day in Dublin and you can visit all attractions if you so wish, or you can choose to do some independent sightseeing or shopping at your leisure.


Day 2. Evening

Depart hotel at 7 pm approximately, destination, The Merry Ploughboy in the foothills of the Dublin mountains, for an evening of music, dancing, dinner and a drink (all included)

Return to your hotel.


Day 3

Breakfast at 7am and load up for departure from Dublin.

We are now heading towards the West of Ireland and what is regarded by many as some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.

On route we will be stopping at the famous Belleek Pottery showrooms, and also the beautiful Glencar Waterfall and lake, before arriving at the 4 stars Radisson Blu Hotel.

Dinner that evening was followed by entertainment.


Day 4

Breakfast at 7 am.

Depart for a full day of touring in Sligo county area. During the course of the day we will visit Drumcliff Graveyard, the burial place of WB Yeats. This grave is one of the most visited graves anywhere in the world, it lies at the foot of the majestic Ben Bulbin Mountain.

After lunch, we continue on to the picturesque village of Mullaghmore on the Atlantic coast.

This is a beautiful drive along the Wild Atlantic Way.

There will be plenty of photo opportunities on the way as well as coffee breaks and some local craft shops to browse in.


Day 5

Breakfast at 7am.

Depart Sligo and heading to Galway, we will be traveling through Louisburg to Leenane via Croagh Patrick and the Doolough Valley. This a spectacular drive, regarded by many as the most beautiful in Ireland. After leaving Leenane we head to  Kylemore Abbey and the Victorian Walled Gardens, along Killary Fjord. The Abbey itself is a truly remarkable achievement of engineering, imagination, and location.

Then on to Galway calling to The Connemara Marble Workshop / retail outlet en route.

Once again there will be plenty of photo opportunities on the way as well as coffee breaks and some local craft shops to browse.

Dinner in Galway that evening, followed by some local entertainment.

Day 6

Breakfast at 7am and depart for a morning of sightseeing along the Wild Atlantic Way.

This stunning drive will include stops at, The Burren and the world-renowned Cliffs of Moher Irelands number 1 tourist attraction.

This is an area of incredible natural beauty and a part of the Unesco World Heritage Sights.

There is an interpretive centre located at the Cliffs of Moher which houses restaurants and shopping facilities.

After lunch in Doolin, we head back to Galway!

On arrival in Galway you will be dropped off at The Galway Cathedral, from there you are free to explore the city and experience the atmosphere and its many fine bars and restaurants for refreshment .you will then be collected from the cathedral for the return to your hotel.

Dinner and entertainment that evening


Day 7

Breakfast at 7am and depart for Dublin with a stop at Clonmacnoice Monastery founded in the 6th century.

Arrive at The Radisson Hotel in Dublin city centre for the final night.

This will allow some time for exploring and last-minute shopping.

The evening will begin with a farewell drink, compliments of Fair Isle Tours.

Followed by Dinner and entertainment.


Day 8

Breakfast and depart for DAP ( times to be confirmed).
