Where do the tours start?
We will meet in front of College Green on Dame Street at 07:15am. Once you’ve met your guide and fellow travellers, you will board the bus, and the tour begins with heading out via west Dublin.
We recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes before the agreed departure time in front of College Green at Dame Street. Be sure to look out for our signature Fair Isle Tours white buses.
Depart Dublin City Centre. Once you’ve met your driver/guide and fellow travellers , you will board our luxury bus and head n orth out of the city .
Castlebellingham & Carrickfergus:
Travelling north, we will stop for a short coffee break around Castlebellingham. After Castlebellingham, we will make our way to The Giants Causeway, travelling along the North Antrim Coast taking in its breath-taking views and taking in the World-Famous Carrickfergus, where will we stop for a brief photo shoot at the beautiful Carrickfergus castle.
Visit Carrick-a-Rede (Your priority entrance fee is included):
Once we reach the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, you'll get the chance to cross the world-famous salmon fishermen’s rope bridge to Carrick Island. Owned by the National Trust, this bridge is 30 metres above sea level and 20 metres wide. Before continuing to the Giant’s Causeway, from the bridge you’ll be able to enjoy the spectacular views of Rathlin Island and the Mull of Kintyre in Scotland (weather permitting). Crossing this bridge is not for the faint hearted (and not mandatory), but it is truly a thrilling experience.
On our way to Dunluce Castle, you will experience one of the most dramatic drives where you’ll witness spectacular scenery, cliffs, and unspoiled beaches. Located on the edge of the North Atlantic coast and used as a filming location for ‘Game of Thrones’, while here, you will see the now ruined medieval castle and get opportunities to take photos. Considered as the most romantic castle in Ireland, the castle was home to McDonnel Clan for many years.
Giant’s Causeway (Your priority entrance fee is included) :
We will experience the stunning scenery of the North of Ireland as we travel to the Giant’s Causeway . Known as the ‘8th wonder of the world’, this UNESCO World H eritage - listed site was formed more than 60 million years ago as a result of a volcanic eruption. This led to 37,000 unique hexagonal columns being formed that disappear under the ocean waves. This extraordinary natural attr action never fails to impress. On our way to the Dark Hedges, we will travel through the town of Bushmills, famous fo r it’s fine Irish Whiskey.
Dark Hedges (Game of Thrones) :
The Dark Hedge s is one of the most popular phenomena in No r thern Ireland. It gained popul arity in the hit TV series Game of Thrones as the famous King’s road in S eason 2. Originally the hedges were planted by the Stuart family in the 18th century to impress visitors. The site to date remains every photographer’s dream and it is a g reat opportunity to stretch your legs and stroll.
